How to Use Ready Stitch™

Open the Package
Each needle is individually sealed to keep the thread clean and tangle-free. Tear open the seal at the top and remove the needle carefully.

Inspect the Thread
The thread is already secured through the eye of the needle. Give it a gentle tug to confirm it's seated. You're ready to go — no threading needed.

Choose Your Technique
Use the curved end to guide the needle through braids and wefts. Keep your stitches tight and even for a clean, professional install.

Finish & Secure
When you reach the end of the thread, tie off with a double knot close to the weft. Trim any excess thread for a neat finish.

Which Needle Is Right for You?
Each Ready Stitch™ style is designed for a specific technique. Here's how to choose.
Large C
Best for: Traditional sew-in extensions
The wide curve gives you maximum control when stitching through thick wefts and tight cornrow braids. Ideal for full installs.
Pro tip: Use a thimble for extra push-through power on dense braids.
Small C
Best for: Closures, frontals & fine wefts
The tighter curve lets you work in smaller spaces with precision. Perfect for detail work around the hairline and parting areas.
Pro tip: Shorter stitches with the Small C give a cleaner, less visible track.
Straight
Best for: Wig construction & flat work
The straight body delivers clean, even stitches across wig caps and flat tracks. Great for wig makers and cosmetology students.
Pro tip: Use the Straight needle when sewing wefts onto a wig cap for the most uniform results.
J-Shaped
Best for: Nape, edges & hard-to-reach areas
The J-curve is engineered for angles that other needles can't reach. Makes nape and edge work faster and more comfortable.
Pro tip: The J-Shaped needle reduces wrist strain during long installs — great for high-volume salon days.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues & Quick Fixes
Thread keeps slipping out of the needle
Pull the thread to one side so it hangs at least 3 inches from the eye. This gives you enough tail to maintain tension while stitching. Avoid pulling the thread all the way through.
Needle is hard to push through the braid
Try a thimble for extra leverage. If the braid is very dense, use the Large C style which is designed for thick cornrows. Make sure you're entering at the base of the braid, not the middle.
Thread is tangling or knotting
Work in shorter strokes and keep the thread taut as you stitch. Avoid letting the thread loop under the needle. If a knot forms, gently work it back toward the eye rather than pulling tight.
Stitches are coming loose after install
Finish each section with a double knot pulled tight against the weft. For extra security, loop back through the last stitch before tying off.
Needle bends or feels weak
Ready Stitch™ needles are designed for single-use installs. If a needle bends, replace it with a fresh one from the pack. Never try to straighten a bent needle — it weakens the metal.
Not sure which needle style to use
Start with the Large C for most sew-in installs. Switch to the Small C for closures and frontals, the Straight for wig work, and the J-Shaped for nape and edge areas.
